The McFarlane Aviation MCS1230-10 is an FAA-PMA approved carburettor heat control. It is designed as a replacement control for eligible Cessna 182-series aircraft, subject to verification of aircraft model, serial number and applicable approved maintenance data.

McFarlane’s improved carburettor heat control design incorporates a high-temperature Teflon-lined conduit to support smooth, consistent operation and reduce vibration wear. Additional features include a heavier control wire, improved friction mechanism and a scratch-resistant phenolic knob.
