McFarlane Aviation MCS1230-7 is an FAA-PMA carburetor heat control supplied as one unit. It is manufactured as a replacement for OEM reference S1230-7.

The control incorporates a high-temperature Teflon-lined conduit intended to reduce vibration wear and provide smooth, consistent operation. McFarlane also specifies a heavier control wire, improved friction mechanism and a scratch-resistant phenolic square knob.
