GAP Seal (3 Foot Piece) is a gap-seal strip supplied in a 3 ft (approximately 0.91 m) length for rudder and elevator gap-sealing applications.
The supplied product information describes this seal as intended for aerobatic aircraft tail surfaces using 7/8 in (approximately 22 mm) diameter tube structure, a gap of at least 1/8 in (approximately 3 mm), and strap hinges. It is designed to be cut to the required length and bonded to the trailing edge of the horizontal stabiliser or vertical fin using a suitable contact adhesive.
