The McFarlane Seat Rail Wear Gauge, P/N GAUGE SR1, is an inspection tool for checking seat rail pin-engagement hole wear on Cessna aircraft.

Designed for use when assessing seat rail wear limits referenced in FAA Airworthiness Directive 2011-10-09, the gauge measures radius wear near the seat stop holes. Its stepped profile incorporates the AD’s permitted upper-surface wear allowance of 0.020 in (approximately 0.5 mm), helping maintenance personnel make a consistent go/no-go assessment.
