The Tempest® 40585 is an FAA-approved overhauled diaphragm fuel pump for early Continental engine applications. It is specified with a fuel-pressure range of 3.5–4.5 PSI.

Manufactured under the Tempest brand by Aero Accessories, LLC, this overhauled pump is built to factory-new performance specifications. Serviceable castings and rocker arms are retained, while the remaining internal components are replaced with new FAA-PMA parts.
