The DC Thermal SA12-4000 is a compact 12 V brushless cabin heater for installations requiring electrically generated cabin heat. It is rated at 480 W, with a stated heat output of 8,016 BTU/h.

The SA12-4000 uses a brushless ball-bearing fan and DC Thermal RuCar vacuum-sealed heating elements. Its riveted T5052 aircraft-aluminium housing is thermally protected and wired with GXL wire. The heater can be mounted vertically or horizontally, subject to the installation requirements.
