This FAA-PMA approved control is designed with a longer conduit terminal to provide additional clearance between the swivel joint and air-filter-box clamp location. McFarlane states that the thread length is tailored to allow adjustment of the Grumman swivel assembly, while the push-rod length is tailored to duplicate the original control’s fit and function.
