The Saf-Air S7516 oil drain valve is a lock-open valve for aircraft oil-drain applications, identified by the 3/4-16 thread designation. Its push-and-turn mechanism locks the valve in the open position, allowing oil to be drained without removing a conventional drain plug with a wrench.

Constructed from anodised 6061 aluminium and 302 stainless steel, the S7516 combines corrosion-resistant materials with a sure-grip operating knob. The valve incorporates a double-seal arrangement to help prevent leakage and is designed to be rebuildable using available seal kits.

  • Manufacturer part number: S7516
  • Push-and-turn, lock-open operation
  • Anodised 6061 aluminium and 302 stainless-steel construction
  • Double-sealed design
  • Stated operating temperature range: -51 °C to +127 °C
  • FAA-PMA approved

Installation suitability, clearance and correct operation must be verified for the specific engine and airframe installation. Do not fly with a drain hose attached to the valve.

Orders with purchased items below 100.00 € incur a small order fee of 10.00 €. Both amounts exclude VAT. Shipping, other fees and core deposits do not count towards the limit.
