The Saf-Air S7516 oil drain valve is a lock-open valve for aircraft oil-drain applications, identified by the 3/4-16 thread designation. Its push-and-turn mechanism locks the valve in the open position, allowing oil to be drained without removing a conventional drain plug with a wrench.

Constructed from anodised 6061 aluminium and 302 stainless steel, the S7516 combines corrosion-resistant materials with a sure-grip operating knob. The valve incorporates a double-seal arrangement to help prevent leakage and is designed to be rebuildable using available seal kits.
