The Micro AeroDynamics MICRO Vortex Generator Kit is an aerodynamic modification kit for specified Piper PA-32 Saratoga aircraft. The kit uses curved, aircraft-grade 6063-T6 aluminium vortex generators intended for installation on the wing and tail surfaces in accordance with the supplied approved data.

Applicable aircraft models under the manufacturer’s approval data include:

  • Piper PA-32-301
  • Piper PA-32-301FT
  • Piper PA-32-301T
  • Piper PA-32-301XTC
  • Piper PA-32R-301 (HP)
  • Piper PA-32R-301 (SP)
  • Piper PA-32R-301T

The kit comprises 96 vortex generators for the wings, 24 for the vertical stabiliser and 44 for the underside of the stabilator. Included installation material comprises the applicable STC documentation, vortex generators, installation tools, positioning templates, detailed illustrated drawings and instructions, spare generators, and Loctite® AA 330™ adhesive.

Manufacturer approval references: FAA STC SA01266SE and EASA STC 10016576, Revision 1. Confirm aircraft model, serial number, installed modifications and applicable approval data before purchase and installation.
