The DCS-1253-OD3 is a U-type speed nut designed for #6 screw applications. Also identified by part numbers 124985-10 and 124985-100, it is supplied as an individual piece.

This spring-style nut snaps over a panel edge or into a centre-hole location and holds itself in position for blind assembly. Its floating screw-receiving position helps accommodate normal alignment variation between panel mounting holes, allowing installation without access to the opposite side.
