Hylomar Aerograde PL32 Medium is a non-setting, non-hardening gasket and jointing compound for aeronautical applications. Manufacturer part number: PL32-40ZMED.

The medium-grade compound is intended for sealing close-fitting joint faces and may be used with or without a gasket, where permitted by the applicable maintenance or component data. Its non-curing formulation supports component disassembly during maintenance.

• Operating temperature range: -50°C to +250°C
• Resistant to air, water, oils, turbine and piston engine combustion products, water/glycol and methanol/water mixtures, and petroleum or synthetic diester lubricating oils
• Medium-grade typical film thickness: 0.03 mm
• Typical maximum surface finish: 3.0 μm Ra
• Typical coverage: 1.125 m² per 100 g
• Thixotropic consistency to assist application on vertical and underside joints
