The Nord-Lock NL8 SP is a carbon steel wedge-locking washer set supplied as one matched pair, for nominal 5/16 in (approx. 8 mm) fasteners.

Nord-Lock wedge-locking washers use a wedge-locking principle to help secure bolted joints. The SP version has an enlarged outer diameter compared with the corresponding standard washer, providing a wider bearing surface for applications involving oversized or slotted holes, soft materials, or sensitive surfaces.
