The Skybolt SK203C172PXP-RET is a cowling fastener retro kit for Cessna 172XP and 172XP II aircraft that have previously been converted to Skybolt fasteners. It is intended to update an existing Skybolt conversion to the later-generation plate-mount arrangement.

  • Manufacturer part number: SK203C172PXP-RET
  • SK40S5S Phillips retro-kit configuration
  • For applicable Cessna 172XP/172XP II aircraft, model years 1977–1981, serial numbers R1722000–3454 and FR17200226–00675
  • Designed for aircraft with Southco firewall fasteners and Camloc 40S5 fasteners at the side panels, nose and centre split
  • Does not include fasteners, grommets or related conversion hardware
  • Not suitable for T41 aircraft
