U-type Tinnerman speed nut, designation A1348-8Z-1D, for use with #8 screws. This self-retaining fastening nut is designed to snap over panel edges or into applicable centre-hole locations, helping keep the fastener in position during blind assembly.

The floating screw-receiving position helps accommodate normal alignment variation between panel mounting holes. Installation does not require access to the opposite side of the assembly.
