Weld-On Scigrip 4Sc Fast Set Acrylic Cement 1 Pint

Weld-On®/SCIGRIP® 4SC is a low-VOC, water-thin acrylic plastic cement supplied in a 1 pint (473 ml) metal can. It is formulated to develop clear, high-strength solvent-welded bonds in suitable thermoplastic materials.

• Clear, water-thin cement with blush-resistant characteristics intended to help reduce white marking on bonded acrylic.
• Suitable for bonding acrylic (PMMA) to itself; manufacturer documentation also identifies polystyrene, cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB), and polycarbonate when bonded to themselves.
• Working time: 1–2 minutes.
• Fixture time: approximately 3 minutes.
• Not recommended by the manufacturer for cross-linked acrylic.

For best results, ensure mating surfaces are clean, dry and closely fitted. The manufacturer describes application by syringe, eyedropper or brush, with assembly while surfaces remain wet. This cement is hazardous and somewhat flammable; use only with appropriate handling precautions and consult the current safety data sheet before use.
