Styrofoam Small Cell 1X 24 X 96

Styrofoam Small Cell is a low-density, tight closed-cell foam sheet supplied in a nominal 25 × 610 × 2,440 mm size.

The closed-cell structure is described as having no voids between cells, providing strong resistance to water penetration. The material is resistant to bases, salts, alcohols and most acids, but is not suitable for use with petroleum-based solvents.

• Low-density closed-cell foam construction
• Suitable for smooth hot-wire cutting when forming airfoil shapes
• Can be shaped for composite-material work where an appropriate non-structural foam core is required

Important: This material is not intended for structural use in aircraft construction, including applications such as VariEze, Long-EZ and Cozy aircraft. Confirm suitability with the relevant material system manufacturer and approved maintenance or design data before use.
