WEST SYSTEM Epoxy Kit B-1 Fast is a two-component epoxy system containing 105 Epoxy Resin and 205 Fast Hardener. The B-1 kit has a nominal content of 1.2 US gal (approximately 4.5 L) and is intended for general bonding and barrier-coating work.

When mixed at the specified 5:1 resin-to-hardener ratio, the 105/205 system produces a high-strength, rigid, moisture-resistant epoxy with bonding and coating properties. The fast hardener is formulated for a rapid cure and is suitable where shorter working and cure times are required.

  • Mix ratio: 5 parts resin to 1 part hardener
  • Typical pot life: 10–15 minutes at 25°C
  • Typical cure to solid state: 5–7 hours at 21°C
  • Typical minimum recommended working temperature: 5°C
