AHN4120 over-expanded Nomex® honeycomb core supplied as a nominal 1,220 x 2,440 mm sheet with a nominal thickness of 3.2 mm.

The over-expanded construction provides rectangular cells designed to allow the core to flex more readily in one direction. The honeycomb is coated with a heat-resistant phenolic resin to increase strength.
