West System Epoxy 206 Slow Hardener Quart

WEST SYSTEM® 206 Slow Hardener is a low-viscosity epoxy curing agent supplied in a quart unit. It is intended for use with WEST SYSTEM 105 Epoxy Resin where extended working and cure time is required, including work at higher shop temperatures.

When mixed with 105 Epoxy Resin at 5 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume or weight, the 105/206 system produces a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant epoxy system suitable for bonding and barrier-coating work. The hardener is not intended for clear coating applications.

• Mix ratio with WEST SYSTEM 105 Epoxy Resin: 5:1 by volume or weight
• At 25°C: pot life of approximately 20–30 minutes for a 100 g batch
• At 25°C: thin-film working time of approximately 90–110 minutes
• At 25°C: cure to a solid thin film in approximately 9–12 hours
• Minimum recommended cure temperature: 16°C

This product is the hardener component only; WEST SYSTEM 105 Epoxy Resin is required for use. Cure speed is affected by ambient temperature and mixed batch size. Read the applicable technical and safety documentation before handling and use.
