Radiant AOA Meter And VaneSensor LCD Radiant Color Display And Aural Alert Output

The Radiant Technology RAOA-022 is a panel-mounted, direct-vane angle-of-attack advisory system for experimental and ultralight aircraft. A balanced, ball-bearing-supported external vane senses local airflow and transmits the reading to a full-colour cockpit display.

The display presents relative angle of attack using large colour-coded digits, a 16-segment green/yellow/red bar graph, and a live vane-angle readout with retained CRUISE and STALL reference values. Ground-based two-point calibration is accessed during power-up to help prevent unintended changes during normal operation.

The RAOA-022 is supplied as a system with the instrument head, carbon-fibre extension shaft (approximately 406 mm, and may be shortened during installation), vane and sensor assembly, leading-edge mounting assembly, fuselage-side mounting adapter, and external aural annunciator. Installation requires a suitable three-conductor sensor cable, which is not included.
