The Mountain High 2-place carry-on oxygen system, manufacturer part number 00EDS-0004-02, is a portable aviation oxygen package configured with two EDS-O2D1 electronic digital Pulse-Demand™ controllers, a CFFC-022 carbon-fibre cylinder, XCR-540 regulator and tote bag.

The EDS-O2D1 delivers an altitude-compensated pulse of oxygen during inhalation rather than continuously throughout the breathing cycle. This pulse-demand operating principle is designed to reduce unnecessary oxygen consumption compared with constant-flow delivery. The controller uses an integrated barometer to adjust oxygen delivery as pressure altitude changes.
