The Brackett Aero Filters BA-107 is a complete aircraft engine air-filter assembly designed around a replaceable BA-12 polyurethane filter element. It provides a practical assembly solution where BA-107 is specified in the applicable approved maintenance or installation data.

  • Manufacturer part number: BA-107
  • Replacement filter element: BA-12
  • Nominal dimensions: 152 mm outside diameter × 184 mm height × 25 mm thickness
  • Manufacturer-stated element features include treated polyurethane foam, a wetted agent and fire-retardant treatment
  • Reference replacements: Cessna 9910018-2 and Air Maze AM102735EA

The manufacturer’s BA-107 instructions specify element replacement at 200 operating hours, 12 months, or when 50% of the element surface is covered with foreign material, subject to operating conditions and the applicable maintenance programme. The element is not intended to be washed and reused.

Before installation, confirm part-number eligibility, configuration and regulatory acceptance for the specific aircraft using current approved maintenance data. Manufacturer BA-107 installation sheet and continued airworthiness instructions (I-194) are available for maintenance reference.
