The Black Max Ultimate Engine Saver is a 220 V electrically powered engine-preservation device designed to supply low-humidity air to the crankcase of an inactive internal-combustion engine. By flushing moisture-laden air from the engine during periods of non-operation, it is intended to help reduce the conditions that can promote internal moisture formation and corrosion.

The Black Max uses a pump and thermoelectric cooling process to produce a continuous flow of low-humidity air. The air is introduced through the engine breather-tube connection using the supplied adaptor arrangement, then flows through the engine and exits through the intake or exhaust system.
